The Hermitage Hotel, Nashville’s celebrated hangout for more than 111 years, today announced its partnership with Draper James, an American lifestyle brand founded by Reese Witherspoon and inspired by her Southern roots. This partnership unites two brands loved by the Nashville community by introducing a new staff wardrobe, custom designed by Draper James, exclusively for The Hermitage Hotel. The partnership is being celebrated with a new Afternoon Tea service called ‘Spillin’ Tea with Draper James’.

Featuring a new print called “The Hermitage Ditsy Floral”, Draper James’ new staff wardrobe is inspired by the Southern splendor and color palette of The Hermitage Hotel, with yellow accents symbolizing the Women’s Suffrage Movement and the hotel’s special role. upon ratification of the 19th Amendment. Female staff members will be outfitted in a special edition of Draper James’ beloved Loretta dress in “The Hermitage Ditsy Floral” print, along with tops inspired by the gathered details and neckline of the Loretta dress. For this collaboration, Draper James paired the brand’s signature blazer with a tailored pencil skirt and trousers designed specifically for the hotel.

Guests at The Hermitage Hotel are greeted by doormen dressed in Draper James suits tailored in a seasonless twill in the brand’s signature Draper James Navy with Ditsy Floral accents such as ties and pocket squares. The men’s accessories and women’s scarves are made of luxurious, hand-selected silk twill and bear the monogram of The Hermitage Hotel and are available for purchase in the hotel. To celebrate the launch of their partnership, The Hermitage Hotel and Draper James are introducing a new limited-time Afternoon Tea: “Spillin’ Tea with Draper James.” This toast to living gracefully will feature a menu of classic Southern treats inspired by recipes from Witherspoon’s cookbook, Whiskey in a Teacup. Guests can expect delicious tea sandwiches, pies, scones and desserts, and even Whiskey in a Teacup, a nod to the hotel’s infamous Prohibition-era ‘secret’. Steeped in Southern charm, the tablescapes will feature custom linens from the Draper James table top collection in “The Hermitage Ditsy Floral” print.
